Indulge in some 'me-time' or bring a friend or family member along, and discover how the simplicity of putting pen to paper and the slow, soothing movement across the page can bring a sense of calm and quiet. Calligraphy is fun and enjoyable but also therapeutic and a good way to de-stress! 

Enjoy the surroundings of the Kale+Coco who will provide a lovely, calming space, and healthy refreshments. 

The tickets for the workshop are €75.00. Enjoy refreshments as part of the ticket price as well as a personalised calligraphy kit including a pen holder, nib, ink, practice booklet and guide sheets at the workshop which you can keep to use for practice afterward. 

In this two-hour workshop for beginners, under the guidance of self-taught calligrapher, Marie-Claire, you will learn: 

- How to set-up your kit and the tools you need 

- The foundations of calligraphy - basic strokes and pressure techniques

- Letter formation and an introduction to word formation 

- Marie-Claire will be there to offer a one-to-one experience throughout the workshop and give direct feedback. There will also be a follow-up with additional resources and guidance on learning
